OK, so opening day of the Spring soccer season was almost a week ago - last Saturday. I'm just a little slow. Here are a few pics from P's game. It was at 1:00 and we expected it to be warm, but the wind changed that. P's team is in a different bracket this season, I think because they had a winning season in the Fall. Anyway, P's team won 8-0 and P had to hold up fingers for every point scored.
Pre-game.
Sharing some warmth.
Jo wondering why she's out in the cold wind (and showing that mommy is so excited about this year's election that she voted early).
P's a bit excited....or cold.
What's that score? I think this was after the next-to-last goal.

Guess Who's Hit the "Terrible Twos"
My oh my, what a temper this child has. Whenever she doesn't get what she wants, she dissolves or erupts (whichever way you want to think of it). Take digging in Mom's office drawer...where the sharp pencils are.
When Mom puts her hand on the drawer, this happens (yes she was actually swinging at my arm and trying to move it):
Mom takes her hand away, and she instantly turns it off.
I can clearly remember when Phoebe was in her terrible twos (from 18 mos to about 4), I told myself, "I will remember this if I ever think of having another child." And I did remember thinking that before we decided to adopt. But I decided that was just part of the bargain.
So, the little miss is 19 months old today and the terrible twos are definitely in full swing.
(Oh, and yes, I got her bangs and the back of her hair trimmed)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
{Insert adorable pic of Jo in her red qi pao here }
Sadly Jo is not having one of her better days. New molars will do that to a girl. Hopefully, we'll have the missing picture taken and posted soon.

What Else Would She Wear on Feb. 3?
Yesterday and today, the weather has been Spring-like. When we woke up this morning, it was already 70 with an expected high of 80. I just thought this was such a cute dress loaned to us by a friend, that she should wear it no matter what month it is.
It IS going to be below freezing when we wake up Wednesday morning. Ah, Texas.
